Not only was this past Monday a teacher-work-day, it was a super warm day! We went downtown to see Dylan’s office and enjoy a picnic amongst the cherry blossoms. For weeks Reese had been begging to see “where daddy works.” The cherry blossoms were at their peak and they were beautiful. The Tripp family, our friends who are always up for an adventure, came with us. After our picnic, we walked around the tidal basin and flew kites. In the end, the main attraction for the kids was the dirt.

Wow! Those trees are gorgeous! How fun! What a beautiful today to get out and go for a picnic.
Wish we could of been there. We wanted to fly out but we just could not make it happen. I sprained my ankle last week making things worse!
