Space Shuttle Endeavor Launch

Spiders, Urine Recycler Aboard for Space Shuttle Launch. The title of a National Geographic News article. No Thank You! I will just watch the launch from a safe distance.

We drove down with our friends the Tripp family. I am so thankful we live in Florida. We get to do a lot of fun things!

baby baby baby

Dylan said when I was pregnant with Reese I said lots of funny things in my sleep. His favorite was "baby baby baby" in a silly little voice he likes to repeat again and again.

Reese and Dylan have been very excited to tell all of their family, friends, and some random strangers. So for most of you this is old news.

We are having a baby!!!

Dylan says it's a girl. Reese says it's a baby brother. I will be really happy with a healthy baby.

Old Iron Town

Uncle Curt took us to a fun place while we were in Enterprise. It was an old Iron mine and Ghost town. Grandma and Grandpa Daniels got to go with us. Both Grandmas even hiked up to see the water filled crater caused by the mine. We all had a great time.

cucumber baby

For some strange reason Reese became unusually attached to a vegetable. Normally veggies are a poison that might actually kill you if you get to close. They are sure to "make you die" if you accidentally get them in your mouth. This trip however Reese felt an overwhelming desire to carry this cucumber around for two days lovingly naming it "Cucumber Baby". He even got his cousin Elizabeth in on the fun.

No matter how much we spend on toys Reese picks the most random inexpensive piece of garbage (in this case food) to play with. I love his imagination its so fun to watch him play!

Fishing With Grandpa and Grandma

Posted by Picasa

While we were visiting my parents they took us fishing. At first Reese was really excited he thought it was a great idea. That was until the fish started biting. He did not like the feel of fishing. Reese would hardly even get close to the bucket when the fish were swimming in it. Once they stopped moving they were OK with him.

going and going and going

Reese and I had such a great time visiting Utah. The next few post will be about our trip.
When we are at playing at Grandpas Reese and his cousins have a hard time coming inside even when the sun goes down. Why should a little thing like the dark stop you from playing?
It's a good thing Grandpa Dave always has a plan.

First Day of School

Reese started Joy School on September 2nd. He has been begging to go to school for a long time. Reese loves his teachers and his friends at Joy School. He is so excited about all of the fun songs and things he is learning.

exploring with grandpa

Posted by Picasa

Behind our apartment is a fence. This is what's behind the fence. Reese and Grandpa had a great time exploring. We have spied alligators here before, thankfully not this time. We had such a fun time when Grandma and Grandpa came. I can't wait for them to come again!

Manatee Springs

This is one of our favorite places to take friends and family when they come to visit. My mom and dad really enjoyed it. They had a great time snorkeling and walking on the board walk to see the river. It's such a beautiful place.

Reese swam with his dad whimpering the entire time. The spring is a constant 72 degrees. Just a bit cold for my little Floridian.

defeating the purpose

After we played in the ocean for a while it started to sprinkle. I'm still not sure why my Mom let Reese use the umbrella; he was the least dry of us all. As you can see staying dry was not what he had in mind. He was so happy! It was almost as exciting as the ocean waves. One thing that I love about Reese is that no matter what he is doing he always makes it fun. Just like his Dad.

surprise

Posted by Picasa

The first surprise at St. Augustine Beach that day happened when I turned around to see Reese striping down. I actually had to put his underpants back on. The rest of the surprises came from the rather large waves courtesy of Hurricane Fae. This was our last stop on our trip back from D.C.
