Excitement

Amazement

Joy for a 4 year old boy!

Reese and I have experienced our first real Monster Trucks! It was very loud and very exciting. We had such a great time watching Reese.

Herbie Car

Those of you who know my son, know what great joy he finds in spotting Herbie cars. He loves them! So for a fun family activity we took him to a dealership to test drive a convertable Volkswagen bug.

I know what you are thinking, we are awesome parents. I know, we just can't help it.

There was laughing, screaming, and a lot of video taping.

I only felt a little sorry for the poor salesman when we walked away. He had to know seriously. What would a pregnant woman, a 6'4" man, and a preschooler with car seat that would barely fit want with a bug?

Terrarium

We went to run errands the other day when Dylan was getting ready to shut the trunk Reese started yelling "frog frog FROG" Dylan and I both looked at the same time and sure enough there was a frog in the trunk about to be smashed. Reese saved the day (just like the wonder pets). Dylan caught the frog in a cup. He put the frog and the cup in a baggie. We had one last stop so while I was in the last store I purchased an inexpensive terrarium.

Reese was so happy he laughed almost the entire way home.
I did not get a picture of the tree frog. We only kept him for a day. As you can see our next victim was the lizard. We only kept him for an hour or so. Reese liked putting green leaves in with him to make him change colors. I'm not sure who was more fascinated Dylan or Reese. This is a fun way to enjoy creatures without having a permanent pet.

Our next conquest is a gecko. I will let you know how that goes.

Old Iron Town

Uncle Curt took us to a fun place while we were in Enterprise. It was an old Iron mine and Ghost town. Grandma and Grandpa Daniels got to go with us. Both Grandmas even hiked up to see the water filled crater caused by the mine. We all had a great time.

Fishing With Grandpa and Grandma

Posted by Picasa

While we were visiting my parents they took us fishing. At first Reese was really excited he thought it was a great idea. That was until the fish started biting. He did not like the feel of fishing. Reese would hardly even get close to the bucket when the fish were swimming in it. Once they stopped moving they were OK with him.

going and going and going

Reese and I had such a great time visiting Utah. The next few post will be about our trip.
When we are at playing at Grandpas Reese and his cousins have a hard time coming inside even when the sun goes down. Why should a little thing like the dark stop you from playing?
It's a good thing Grandpa Dave always has a plan.

exploring with grandpa

Posted by Picasa

Behind our apartment is a fence. This is what's behind the fence. Reese and Grandpa had a great time exploring. We have spied alligators here before, thankfully not this time. We had such a fun time when Grandma and Grandpa came. I can't wait for them to come again!

surprise

Posted by Picasa

The first surprise at St. Augustine Beach that day happened when I turned around to see Reese striping down. I actually had to put his underpants back on. The rest of the surprises came from the rather large waves courtesy of Hurricane Fae. This was our last stop on our trip back from D.C.

Jedi Master Gabe

Dear Master Gabe,

My mom says I am way too young to be wielding a light saber. She is concerned that the nature of the Jedi might interfere with the way I interact with my friends at Preschool. I however, think that this might be the most exciting thing I have experienced in my short life so far. I am so glad to have a cousin so advanced to teach me the ways of the Jedi. I look forward to more training. May the force be with you.

Reese

P.S. My mom will be posting soon.
