Independence Day

We had A Capitol Fourth of July this year. At least that was the name of the dress rehearsal we went to on the Third. They have a free concert on the lawn of the Capitol each year in DC. We saw Taylor Hicks, Huey Lewis and the News, Jerry Lee Lewis, and a few other performers. It was a really great time. Reese had fun dancing and waving the flag. I was happy we missed the rain and the ½million people that showed up at the mall the night of the 4^Th.

On Independence Day we went to the annual Flag Ceremony the Arlington ward and enjoyed a yummy breakfast. After a super long nap we had some friends over and watched the fire works from our balcony. I really love the view from our apartment, the fire works were amazing.
