National Train Day 2010

A few weekends ago we went to see the trains at Union Station. Reese LOVES trains. We were able to go inside passenger trains, freight trains, antique trains and the new Acela. It was fun to watch Reese run down the isles and try to sit in every seat.

Scott's Run Nature Preserve

Saturday we had a fun adventure exploring Scott's Run Nature Preserve. It was a fun hike to a waterfall. Along the way the boys stopped to play in the stream. Reese was so excited to catch tadpoles that he braved the scary fish swimming around his feet. Aiden loved the water he did not mind the cold at all in fact he was extremely upset with me when I dared to remove him. It was a beautiful place, in the end Dylan had to haul everyone but me.

Frying Pan Farm

Play group for last week was at Frying Pan Farm. It was fun to see all the baby animals born this spring. Reese had fun running around, Aiden didn't really care, he loves being outside even if it was a little chilly.
